Let me introduce the family workshop of Mr. Cip - father of my hurdy-gurdy.

They are a small family workshop occupying ourselves since 1988 with the manufacture of custom-made folk and historical musical wind instruments. In addition to the manufacture of folk bagpipes from various Bohemian and Moravian regions we dedicate ourselves also to the construction of copies and reconstructions of some types of historical bagpipes. Furthermore you'll find in our assortment less known instruments like bladder-pipes, gemshorns, double-reed shawms, and cornamuses. In 1995 we also started - as the first workshop in the Czech republic - to manufacture wooden recorders.
